Charles Hoskinson

A Colorado-based technology entrepreneur and mathematician. He attended Metropolitan State University of Denver and University of Colorado Boulder to study analytic number theory before moving into cryptography through industry exposure.

His professional experience includes founding three cryptocurrency-related start-ups – Invictus Innovations, Ethereum and IOHK – and he has held a variety of posts in both the public and private sectors. He was the founding chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation’s education committee and established the Cryptocurrency Research Group in 2013.

His current projects focus on educating people about cryptocurrency, being an evangelist for decentralization and making cryptographic tools easier to use for the mainstream. This includes leading the research, design and development of Cardano, a third-generation cryptocurrency that launched in September 2017.

Gianfranco Tomassetti is based in Denver, but born and raised in Miami, he recently found out about Cardano and dived into research working alongside PlantaCrypto Venezuelan Cardano Staking Pool and discovered similarities in thinking and resonated with the love of saving the world. Cardano is a vision to empower the individual specially those in third world countries and this allows people the freedom and the right to who they are. The art piece has the mouse and the bird, predator and prey, it holds a bison over the keyboard and there’s a canoe with a man sleeping into it being pulled into a new reality. The rocky mountains, the aspen trees remind us of Colorado. a bird eats the snake, a big metaphor of what will happen with crypto entering our lives, you know these are just some of the elements included in the work. I believe in Cardano.
